| Eaton Offers Videos on Counterfeiting Perils -(Electricity Forum)

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation will host online videos about the dangers of counterfeit electrical products.
The videos were filmed during a panel discussion on counterfeiting at Electric West 2010. The videos feature representatives from Eaton, the Electrical Safety Foundation International ESFI, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association NEMA and Underwriters Laboratories UL. Panel participants discussed how manufacturers’ associations, supply-chain partners and government agencies worldwide are coordinating efforts to raise awareness of counterfeit electrical products.

WASHINGTON D.C. The United States stands by its 2020 target for reducing greenhouse gas emissions despite the Senate's failure to pass legislation to fight climate change, the top U.S. climate envoy said.
Todd Stern told Reuters a U.S. proposal, made last year ahead of UN climate talks, to reduce emissions roughly 17 percent by 2020 compared to 2005 levels or 3 percent from 1990 levels was still on the table.

UNITED KINGDOM The UK power industry needs to train twice as many people if it is to meet demand for 65,000 new workers by 2024.
With four out of five employees set to retire over the next 15 years, there are serious questions about Britain's ability to keep the lights on, the National Skills Academy for Power NSAP is warning. The engineering and construction industries alone will need between 17,000 and 35,000 skilled staff.
